4 down 32 to go

Of course they are not sewn together yet – I don’t do that until they are all finished and up on the wall for the final arrangement. I just wanted to see what they looked like together.

After ironing the seams to the side – but before starching – I whack the thick seams several times with a rubber mallet – it really helps minimize lumps. In fact there are no lumps – they lie perfectly flat.

Can you spot the “mistake” in the block on the lower right? There are two yellow/orange ones side by side – they should have been opposite each other. I have no idea how they got mixed up – but I am NOT taking them apart!

  1. Mistake? They look perfect! I love purple with orange.

  2. This little quilt is turning out so cute.
